Crisis Hotline
Snohomish County Center for Battered Women offers a 24-hour crisis intervention, information and referral counseling service to victims of domestic violence, their friends, families, and concerned citizens and professionals. The hotline number is 425-25-ABUSE or 425-252-2873.

Emergency Shelter Service
Emergency shelter is provided for up to 30 days to women and children who are in immediate danger. The exact location of the 15 bed shelter is kept confidential to protect the safety of the residents. All residents receive lodging, food, clothing, crisis counseling and emotional support.

Transitional Housing
Snohomish County Center for Battered Women leases 20 apartment units, in various locations throughout the county, to be used for transitional housing for appropriate shelter residents who face particular barriers to self-sufficiency. Residents may stay for up to 2 years and receive ongoing case management and support throughout their stay. Continued support is available for up to six months after moving into permanent housing.

Legal Advocacy Program
The Legal Advocacy Program offers legal information, support and advocacy both to shelter residents and non-resident clients. Additionally, the Legal Advocacy Department is active in efforts to improve the legal system’s response to domestic violence and provides training to law enforcement, prosecutors, attorneys and other professionals interested in expanding their knowledge on domestic violence.

Children's Program
The Children’s Program provides intervention, assessment, and educational/enrichment activities for children within CBW’s program. Additionally, the program provides education and parenting skilled, support and referrals. The Center’s structured Children’s Program Support Groups are offered in the shelter and within the community. Prevention education in schools and professional training are provided as requested.
