Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are essential to the work we do. Whatever your interests or skills, chances are we have a job for you! Some of the opportunities include, but are not limited to:

Direct Services

(working directly with the women and children)

  • Hotline/Crisis phone line
  • Court Support & Legal Advocacy
  • Working with Children

Non-direct Services

  • Clerical/Office help
  • Work at our Thrift Shoppe
  • Shelter Maintenance/Yard Work
  • Fundraising
  • Committees for Special Events
 

We have many volunteer opportunities for interested people. Community Education Volunteer Training

All volunteers that participate in direct-services must complete a minimum of 20 hours domestic violence training according to federal law. Trainings are offered in Everett, WA over seven Monday nights. 

Next training begins June 2

Professionals can receive a certificate for 20 hours of state approved domestic violence awareness training and are asked to pay $200 total for the classes. All volunteers must submit to a state background check.
